Description

This beginning course is geared toward individuals who wish to familiarize themselves with the Spanish language and some basic Spanish phrases, greetings, etc. Perhaps you are planning a trip to a country where Spanish is the primary language, or maybe some knowledge of Spanish would be helpful at your present job or in searching for a new job.  No previous educational experience with Spanish is necessary for this class.  Enrollment in this class is limited to fifteen (15) students.  There are no discounts available on this class.  A basic textbook and workbook will be required for this class.  The cost of the two books will be approximately $35 and they will be available for purchase from the VRABE office in the weeks prior to the first class.  Please call 860-870-6060 to arrange a time to pick up the materials

The book for this class will be the same as those used in the Spanish I class.  If you did not already purchase books, they will be available for purchase in the office prior to the first night of class for $35.00.  Please call 860-870-6060 to arrange a time to purchase your books.  

Cancellations & Refund Policy:

• Vernon Regional Adult Based and Continuing Education reserves the right to make necessary changes, including limiting course enrollment or canceling courses due to insufficient enrollment. If a course is canceled for this reason, registered students will be notified and fully refunded.  

• Class sessions may be rescheduled due to unforeseen school closures, COVID-related issues, inclement weather, or teacher absences. Refunds or credits will not be provided to students who are unable to attend rescheduled make-up classes.

• Students assume all risk of changes in their personal schedules. Absence from the class does not reduce the cost of operating our programs, therefore there is no prorating of cost. For this reason student absence does not result in a refund, tuition credit or make-up session.
