Description

If Fall is your favorite season, you will love this class! Celebrate the cooler weather

with cupcakes topped by whimsical icing critters, and more! Learn buttercream figure

piping and fondant techniques to create a bear, fox, hedgehog, owl, cat, pumpkin and

even a mummy! 

 

FALL & HALLOWEEN CUPCAKES Student Supply List

12 (or more) unfrosted cupcakes

2 small tubs ready-made white buttercream frosting (home-made is optional)

1 box or tub of white fondant

Gel food colors to tint frosting & fondant: red, yellow, blue, green, orange, brown & black

1 tablespoon vegetable shortening

Tips needed: tip #3 (three) Tip # 12 (two)

One each: Tip# 5, 233(grass tip), 16, 18, 104, 150

Standard size white plastic couplers (4 or more)

12” disposable decorating bags (one or two packages)

Package of small & large candy eyeballs

9” straight (or angled) metal spatula AND a pointed metal spatula (or butterknife)

Several small bowls & a spoon to mix icing colors

Scissors & a package of toothpicks

A small bottle of water

Paper towels & a moist cleanup cloth

An apron

A plastic bag for trash & used equipment

Additional Notes

Enrichment Class Students may find it more convenient to park in lot A, situated on the north side of the school, directly in front of the Agricultural Science & Technology Education (ASTE) building, for ease of access.


Cancellations & Refund Policy:

  • Vernon Regional Adult Based and Continuing Education reserves the right to make necessary changes, including limiting course enrollment or canceling courses due to insufficient enrollment. If a course is canceled for this reason, registered students will be notified and fully refunded.  

  • Class sessions may be rescheduled due to unforeseen school closures, COVID-related issues, inclement weather, or teacher absences. Refunds or credits will not be provided to students who are unable to attend rescheduled make-up classes.

  • Students assume all risk of changes in their personal schedules. Absence from the class does not reduce the cost of operating our programs, therefore there is no prorating of cost. For this reason student absence does not result in a refund, tuition credit or make-up session.
