Workplace Communication & Digital Professional Skills

Explore a practical, hands-on course designed for adults looking to strengthen their communication and digital skills for today’s professional workplace. In this course, you’ll learn how to write clear, professional emails, participate confidently in virtual and in-person meetings, and apply best practices for workplace etiquette. You’ll also work with essential tools in Google Workspace, including shared documents, shared drives, and introductory file-organization techniques. A comparison of features with Microsoft Office will be held.

Throughout the course, you’ll practice using simple task-tracking templates, managing deadlines with basic project-tracking methods, and communicating effectively across email, chat, and shared digital environments. Through guided instruction, real-world activities, and structured peer review, you’ll build practical skills that support success in administrative, customer-facing, and office-based roles. This course is ideal for adults entering or re-entering the workforce, career changers, or anyone seeking to improve their workplace readiness and digital professionalism.   Please note:  Personal laptop is required.
