Description
This is an introductory course on how to heal your relationship with food, break free of years of chronic dieting and take back your life. It is designed for people who want to give up dieting and make peace with food and their bodies. Intuitive Eating is a research based, non-diet approach to health and wellbeing. There is no discount for this class. This class is limited to (10) ten participants.
In this course participants will learn the following:
- What intuitive eating is and why it is linked to better health outcomes than dieting
- Some of the most common myths and misconceptions about intuitive eating
- The 10 principles of intuitive eating, and how to begin applying them in your life
- Common barriers to intuitive eating and ways to address them
- How to recognize and fight back against diet culture, weight stigma and the $8.4 billion a year diet industry
- Why self-compassion is one of the most powerful resources in the process of making peace with food, and a simple way to start practicing it
- How to begin untangling your self-worth from weight and food
- How to use intuitive eating to support your mental and physical health
- This course will include a workbook, group discussions, tools and resources to put what is learned into practice outside of the classroom.
