Description

Are you interested in achieving a strong core and a toned stomach? This class is designed to assist you in reaching your fitness goals! Pilates Core is the perfect choice for individuals seeking to enhance their core strength. The class specifically targets the muscles in the abdomen, lower back, and hips, commonly referred to as the "powerhouse," which is crucial for stability. Pilates Core incorporates a variety of props, light hand weights, and contemporary movements, offering a modified version of the Pilates Mat Workout. By participating in this class, you can develop a sturdy inner core while shaping long, slender muscles. Suitable for individuals of all fitness levels, the class offers modifications for those who require them.. Please note that class enrollment is limited to twelve (12) students.

 

 




Additional Notes

Bring a mat, some water, a 1 or 2 lb. weight, wear sweats, a t-shirt or whatever you like.  Students who enroll in this course need to be physically able to perform the postures taught in this beginner level class.

Please note: Class will not be held on April 2 and April 9.

This class will be held at Vernon Center Middle School.
