Description

Explore the delight of working with clay, whether you're a beginner stepping into the world of ceramics or someone rekindling an old passion. This course is designed to guide novice ceramists through essential techniques, covering fundamental skills in hand building such as pinch, coil, and slab methods. Additionally, participants will gain proficiency in throwing, mastering techniques like centering, opening, pulling, and trimming. By the end of the course, students will have the ability to create a diverse range of ceramic pieces and apply glazes to achieve polished finished products.   Join us for a hands-on journey into the art of ceramics!

There is a material fee of $40 payable to the instructor on the first night of the class. Please bring cash or a money order, as personal checks will not be accepted. If participants wish to purchase extra materials, they can do so directly from the instructor.

Enrollment for this class is limited to twelve (12) students.
