Sign up is for couples/partners “Bachatango” is a relatively new style of Latin dance that fuses the four-step pattern of the Dominican Bachata with Argentine Tango moves, including elaborated kicks, dips, turns, ganchos, leg wraps, and long pauses. Because of popular requests, class length has been expanded from 1.0 hrs. to 1.5 hours to allow for more practice time.  The first 2-3 classes of this five-class program will focus on participants learning the basics of the Bachata and American Tango dance patterns and moves, as well as Argentine Tango dance moves. The last 2-3 classes will concentrate on the fusion of the Bachata foot pattern with the moves of Bachata, American Tango, and Argentine Tango. No previous Bachata or Tango experience is required, but some experience in "couple" dancing would greatly enhance your learning experience. Participants will receive practice dance music and links to FaceBook videos, for outside class instruction. Participants are encouraged to video instruction portion of the class. Wear comfortable shoes, and bring a water bottle. Enrollment is limited to fifteen couples.

This class will be held at RHS in the Large Cafeteria, Room 111.

Enrichment Class Students may find it more convenient to park in lot A, situated on the north side of the school, directly in front of the Agricultural Science & Technology Education (ASTE) building, for ease of access.

Cancellations & Refund Policy:

• Vernon Regional Adult Based and Continuing Education reserves the right to make necessary changes, including limiting course enrollment or canceling courses due to insufficient enrollment. If a course is canceled for this reason, registered students will be notified and fully refunded.  

• Class sessions may be rescheduled due to unforeseen school closures, COVID-related issues, inclement weather, or teacher absences. Refunds or credits will not be provided to students who are unable to attend rescheduled make-up classes.

• Students assume all risk of changes in their personal schedules. Absence from the class does not reduce the cost of operating our programs, therefore there is no prorating of cost. For this reason student absence does not result in a refund, tuition credit or make-up session.
