Description

If exclusive relationships aren’t your thing, we’ll show you how to “date” multiple partners at the same time with Mutual Funds and ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds). These products allow you to play the field and not be tied down to a single partner. Let’s call it diversifying your holdings. In this class, we’ll explore the world of Mutual Funds and ETFs. What are they? What are they investing in? What are the fees? Which is better: ETFs or Mutual Funds? Finally, we’ll share Warren Buffett’s investing advice. It’s an easy way to begin investing on your own with only a small time commitment. It’s how we got started investing.
You will learn:
• How to know which stocks are inside your mutual fund
• How to use “thematic” ETFs to diversify into niche markets
• Warren Buffett’s investing advice and how to implement it

PLEASE NOTE: Our instructors are employed to teach general concepts to groups of students, rather than to offer specific investment advice to individuals. Students are advised to consult their own financial advisor or attorney before making any investment decisions based on specific examples provided by our instructors.
