Description

In this crochet class, students will advance to the next level of crochet. The purpose of this class is to enhance their crochet knowledge and skills in this captivating field of crochet needle art. Previous understanding of basic crochet is required. Students will delve deeper into understanding and reading crochet patterns, grasping shaping in crochet, exploring stitch patterns, mastering the next level of working in rounds, introduction to multiples, and familiarizing themselves with universal crochet chart diagrams. Additionally, students will learn to create edgings. Throughout the class, students will work on sample swatches during both in-class sessions and as homework. A class crochet project will be assigned on the first night of class. Class supplies include: one skein of solid color (not dark or multi-color) yarn, medium worsted weight yarn #4, crochet hook size K, small scissors, measuring tape or ruler, and crochet markers. Additional supplies will be required for the crochet pattern project.

Cancellations & Refund Policy:

• Vernon Regional Adult Based and Continuing Education reserves the right to make necessary changes, including limiting course enrollment or canceling courses due to insufficient enrollment. If a course is canceled for this reason, registered students will be notified and fully refunded.  

• Class sessions may be rescheduled due to unforeseen school closures, COVID-related issues, inclement weather, or teacher absences. Refunds or credits will not be provided to students who are unable to attend rescheduled make-up classes.

• Students assume all risk of changes in their personal schedules. Absence from the class does not reduce the cost of operating our programs, therefore there is no prorating of cost. For this reason student absence does not result in a refund, tuition credit or make-up session.
