Description

Do you need space and time to further develop your sewing skills? This 8-week advanced sewing class will allow you to pursue projects tailored to your interests and expertise beyond a beginner level. This course is intended for any sewist who is comfortable using a sewing machine independently with basic stitches or who has had some experience with hand sewing. The course is self-paced, and students may work on any machine or hand sewing project they like, though sample projects, ideas, and patterns will be provided for those who need inspiration. The instructor will guide and advise, along with the assistance of technology, to explore different ideas and methods, fostering a collaborative community environment in the class. A sewing machine in good working order, with knowledge of its operation, is required, along with other essential equipment and supplies. Additional materials will be determined based on individual projects.

 Please note:  This class will not be held on Monday, October 14th.

Cancellations & Refund Policy:

  • Vernon Regional Adult Based and Continuing Education reserves the right to make necessary changes, including limiting course enrollment or canceling courses due to insufficient enrollment. If a course is canceled for this reason, registered students will be notified and fully refunded.  

  • Class sessions may be rescheduled due to unforeseen school closures, COVID-related issues, inclement weather, or teacher absences. Refunds or credits will not be provided to students who are unable to attend rescheduled make-up classes.

  • Students assume all risk of changes in their personal schedules. Absence from the class does not reduce the cost of operating our programs, therefore there is no prorating of cost. For this reason student absence does not result in a refund, tuition credit or make-up session.
