Description

This course is designed for beginner and intermediate-level guitar students. Students will receive instruction on guitar performance, music notation/tablature reading, and specific skills and techniques required to become successful guitarists. Areas of concentration include correct posture, note/chord reading, aural skills, rhythmic patterns, chord study, musical forms, improvisation, and performing experiences.

Requirements: You must have a serviceable guitar and the ability to download and use apps.

There are no discounts available for this class.

This class is for adults 18 years old and older.

Additional Notes

Please Note:  Class will not be held Tuesday, November 5th.

Enrichment Class Students may find it more convenient to park and enter at the main entrance of the school for ease of access to the Choir Room.

Cancellations & Refund Policy:

• Vernon Regional Adult Based and Continuing Education reserves the right to make necessary changes, including limiting course enrollment or canceling courses due to insufficient enrollment. If a course is canceled for this reason, registered students will be notified and fully refunded.  

• Class sessions may be rescheduled due to unforeseen school closures, COVID-related issues, inclement weather, or teacher absences. Refunds or credits will not be provided to students who are unable to attend rescheduled make-up classes.

• Students assume all risk of changes in their personal schedules. Absence from the class does not reduce the cost of operating our programs, therefore there is no prorating of cost. For this reason student absence does not result in a refund, tuition credit or make-up session.
