Stitch patterns help to form these Speciality Stitches. If time allows; students will be introduced to the reading & understanding crochet diagram charts, which is the univeral language of crocheting today. Students will be given a crochet pattern project handed-out on the first day of class, and we will begin the reading of the crochet project pattern in class and begin the swatch sample to work on. Students will need to bring their crocheting tools to class, along with a good quality yarn (not expensive yarn), #4 or #5 and at least 1 or 2 skeins of solid medium color yarn, that will help them see the formation of their crochet stitches.
