Roy Lichtenstein Exhibit: The Whitney will present a major exhibition of legendary American pop icon Roy Lichtenstein on view October 2026 through May 2027. It is a first major New York show of the artist in more than thirty years. This is a once in a generation presentation that will only be on view at the Whitney. The survey will unite all aspects of Lichtenstein's celebrated career: painting, sculpture, prints, drawings, and monumental murals, spanning indoor and outdoor galleries at the Museum. Self-guided admission to experience the pop art of Roy Lichtenstein at the Whitney Museum. Lunch will be on your own at nearby Chelsea Market.
